Ghost Park
privacy policy.
Who this notice covers
This privacy notice explains how Ghost Park handles information submitted through ghostpark.app while the product is in development and partnership validation. Ghost Park is responsible for deciding how this website enquiry information is used.
Information we collect
When you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, enquiry type, message, consent record, submission date and time, source page and form name. For security and rate limiting, we also create protected hashes derived from technical request information. We do not intentionally collect continuous location information through this website.
Why we use it
- To route, review and respond to your enquiry.
- To send the acknowledgement you requested by submitting the form.
- To manage early-access interest, potential customer relationships and partnership discussions.
- To investigate support, payment, session and parking-notice enquiries.
- To prevent spam, misuse and security incidents.
- To create a support or staff-dashboard record so the enquiry can be followed through.
Our lawful bases
Depending on the enquiry, Ghost Park processes information because it is necessary to take steps you request before a potential contract, to pursue legitimate interests in answering enquiries and developing the service, or to comply with a legal obligation. The required checkbox confirms that you have been shown this notice; it is not consent to unrelated marketing.
How information is protected
Form data is transmitted over HTTPS, stored in a protected database and encrypted at rest. Access should be limited to authorised Ghost Park staff and service providers who need it to handle the enquiry. Security controls include signed form tokens, a spam trap, input validation, rate limiting and protected technical identifiers.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be handled by Ghost Park’s hosting, email and future customer-support technology providers, acting only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or to investigate misuse. We do not sell website enquiry information.
How long we keep it
Website enquiry records are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is needed for an active account, support matter, parking-notice review, dispute, legal requirement or agreed partnership. Security rate-limit records are kept for a substantially shorter period.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability of your personal information. Use the Ghost Park contact form to make a privacy request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
Cookies
Necessary cookies support form security and remember cookie preferences. Optional analytics or marketing categories remain off unless selected through the cookie controls. You can reopen those controls from the footer.
Changes to this policy
This notice may be updated as Ghost Park launches new features, staff tools, mobile applications or service providers. Material changes will be shown on this page. Last updated: 3 August 2026.
